At Nymbl Systems, we're proud to be part of a community that is shaping the future of healthcare through years of innovation and experience. If you missed Nymbl.Con 2024, or any presentations given in Scottsdale, AZ, you’ll find the highlights (and future plans for Nymbl Systems) in session summaries below. Thank you to all the Nymbl Systems users who attended – it wouldn’t have been the same without every one of you!
In this session, Rob (Nymbl Systems’ CIO) and Todd (Senior Product Manager) took us on a thrilling hike through the future of Nymbl Systems. They showcased the incredible potential of AI and automation in revolutionizing patient care and business operations. Imagine a world where intelligent systems handle repetitive tasks, allowing healthcare professionals to focus on what matters most – providing the best care for their patients. With groundbreaking insights and real-world examples, this presentation left us inspired and ready to embark on the journey toward a more efficient and patient-centric healthcare system.
Bonus! New features, like one-page patient intake, AI-generated clinical notes, and patient engagement were unveiled in this session. If you want to learn more about these and other features coming in 2024, reach out to us at Info@NymblSystems.com.
Jeff Brandt, a member of the Limb Loss Preservation Registry’s (LLPR) External Collaborative Panel, used his session to refocus our attention on a major problem facing the O&P market: outdated and underwhelming research about the use of orthotic and prosthetic devices. His presentation took the time to highlight the benefits of proactive research, not just for the industry, but for patients as they make life-altering decisions with practitioners about their care.
Key Takeaway: Contributing to this database and the ongoing research doesn’t cost a thing – it won’t even cost you extra time to get involved if you are a Nymbl Systems user! If you would like to contribute your practice’s data to ongoing research for O&P, let us know. We can “flip a switch” that allows your data to be securely shared with the LLPR for their research. Any fields that will be shared with LLPR will be marked in our system, once you’ve turned this setting on.
Communication is the lifeline of healthcare. Zain Qayyum, CEO of Medsender, shared his vision of a seamlessly connected healthcare ecosystem that transforms the way healthcare professionals exchange information. Medsender ensures secure, efficient, AI-supported communication while minimizing errors. However, he mentioned that AI isn’t necessary or even helpful in all applications. Zain took the time to break down where AI can help in healthcare and the limitations it faces due to security concerns and shaky reliability in the early stages of development.
Key Takeaways: Be sure that any AI used in your workflow is compliant with HIPAA and does not compromise PHI. Medsender is continuing to develop new ways of using AI as a
tool
that fits naturally into your workflow, but AI tools won’t (and shouldn’t) act as a replacement for human knowledge.
In his sessions, Josh Black emphasized the tangible benefits that accompany the adoption of Nymbl Systems. As a Sales Engineer, and resident “Nymbl Genius,” Josh knows there are numerous features that allow businesses to operate with greater efficiency that sometimes go underutilized or unnoticed. By leveraging our comprehensive suite of features, healthcare providers can unlock remarkable efficiency gains and significant revenue increases. From automating error-prone manual work to reducing costly denials, Nymbl Systems sets the stage for a future where business excellence and exceptional patient care go hand in hand.
Key Takeaways: If you want to learn more or if you are unfamiliar with Nymbl’s features like ERA bulk posting, serialized loaner tracking, or direct scanning into the software, it’s time to get in touch! You’ll thank yourself for taking the time to learn new features when you see the impact it can have on your business’ ROI.
Lesleigh Sisson, CEO of O&P Insight, zeroed in on the key compliance challenges faced by O&P practitioners in her session. She explored common risk areas that can lead to denials, and the critical need to implement a plan to help your practice stay compliant. From documentation best practices to regulatory updates, Lesleigh left no stone unturned to ensure attendees were left more knowledgeable about compliance in the ever-evolving world of O&P.
Key Takeaways: Keep in mind the seven elements needed in a compliance plan – implement written policies, procedures, and standards of conduct; designate a compliance officer and committee; conduct effective training and education; develop effective lines of communication; enforce standards through documented guidelines; conduct internal monitoring and audits; respond promptly to detected offenses.
In his presentation, Sam Brouillette, Manager of Clinical Education at SPS, left us all feeling more informed after clearing up the differences between Medicare LCD and Policy Articles. With multiple examples of reviewing the differences between the two, we’re ready to ace a quiz on it! There’s more to unpack than his time allowed for, but Sam didn’t leave us without resources in his presentation.

By proactively preventing denials and ensuring clean claims right from the start, Mariah Streicher, a Channel Sales Manager, showed everyone how Waystar empowers healthcare providers to optimize revenue cycles and enhance staff productivity. With accurate, complete, and actionable data at your fingertips, you can deliver a seamless billing experience.
Key Takeaway: The path to a world free of denials requires four pillars: getting it right from the start, ensuring every claim is clean, responding with data-driven intelligence, and supporting continuous improvement.
Among these presentations, we had an incredible line-up of Nymbl Systems users who hosted our panel discussion and addressed questions on how they make the most of the software Nymbl provides.
