Josh Lau, CEO

Josh has four years of medical research experience at The University of Kentucky, five years in healthcare IT, and six years in the O&P space. Josh has also been recognized into the congressional record for his work.

The Nymbl Systems Platform

While working in the IT field for an O&P client, Josh Lau was asked to recommend a business management electronic health records (EHR) system for the practice. He searched extensively for a solution but couldn’t find one software that met all the exceptionally specific needs for his customer’s field. The system needed to make routine workflows (billing processes, patient records, and taking clinical notes) more efficient, provide the flexibility to access the system from different devices, and have the ability to generate helpful business intelligence reports all while maintaining HIPPA compliance.

Was there even a business out there at could integrate solutions for all these needs into one product? This question is what sparked Josh's idea to create a business management solution built specifically for the fields in DMEPOS.

After interviewing more O&P practices and connecting to a network of individuals that saw the same problems and space for solutions, Lau gained funding from investors. He launched an early version of Nymbl Systems and hired a team that would help rewrite and modernize the Nymbl Systems software.

Today, Nymbl Systems is an agile and simple-to-use business management platform, created intentionally for healthcare providers in Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) so they can achieve better outcomes.
